Jihlava is a nationally and internationally important road junction, where the D1 (E50, E65) Prague-Brno motorway crosses the road I/38 from Cologne, along which the European road E59 runs in the direction of Znojmo and Vienna.
From the D1 motorway, take exit 112 to Jihlava. Exit to the town is connected by the four-lane feeder road I/38, which runs from Havlíčkov Brod and continues from Jihlava towards Moravské Budějovice and Znojmo. Due to the convenient road connection, Jihlava has many bus connections to the surrounding area and to the whole republic.
The bus station is 800 m from the center.
The rail connection is mainly the Brno-Jihlava-České Budějovice express trains and the Renaissance rush trains from Havlíčkov Brod, where they have connections to the express trains from Prague to Brno. Jihlava-město Train Station is 1 km from the center. The more distant Jihlava railway station is connected to the city centre by trolleybus lines A and B.
A parking system is in place in the expanded city center, parking lots are marked with a blue horizontal line on the road. It parks in three modes — blue resident, orange visitor and purple medium. The mode is recognized by the color bar on the vertical markers.
