The birthplace of architect and designer Josef Hoffmann is located in Brtnice in Jihlavsko. Do not miss the experiential exposition, which will entertain adults and children.
Since 2006, the Hoffmann House has been a joint workplace of the Moravian Gallery Brno and the Austrian Museum of Applied Art Vienna. There is a public library in the court tract. The permanent exhibition focuses on the work of Josef Hoffmann and the main theme is inspiration. Seasonal exhibitions are also organized here every year. New permanent exhibition called Messenger of Beauty brings Hoffmann's life and work closer, viewing him as an inspiration to today's creators, while also focusing on Hoffmann's birth house with garden and barn.
