Walking tour to the medieval cuticle and the romantic chapel of St. Antonín with the possibility of a comfortable return by train

We start our trip in Rantířov near the railway station. A green tourist sign leading along the track leads us to the signpost Pod Rounkem and over the railway bridge following the local road we continue along the green to the picturesque grove at the edge of the forest. We turn left and after about 700 meters we come to the medieval cuticle, which is a reminder of silver mining in Jihlava.

The place is equipped with information panels as well as a rest area. We return back to the building of the former castle and continue still along the green to the chapel of St. Anthony. According to legend, the chapel is built with money from the treasure found on the site. Pilgrimages are held here every year in June and it is often a popular place for hosting romantic weddings under the open sky. When we have enjoyed the smell of the forest and the tranquility of the pilgrimage site, we will head back to Rantířov.
