By bike to Pávovský pond

We leave the Alzheimer Center on Romana Havelka street along the R04 cycle path, U Boroviny street and after 700 m at the intersection we turn right onto B06. We continue along the former Reindler's Court until May 5 Street. Here we connect to the modern section of the R08 cycle path and comfortably reach the Pávovský Autocamp, which extends around the pond of the same name. The latter is a popular destination for paddleboarding enthusiasts, which you can rent and try here. We pass by the campsite and follow the yellow tourist sign along a pleasant forest road to the village of Zborná. Here you can also find the Havířská nature trail and on the Rudný Hill (Šacberk) the remains of a lookout tower, which used to stand there at the beginning of the 20th century. Be sure to take a hiking trip here next time. While passing through the village of Zborná, you can have a snack at the local Inn U Lípa in the village of Zborná. It is a popular tourist stop, it has a very spacious garden with a children's sandbox and swings. From Zborná we continue along the yellow sign with a short climb to the guest house U Lyžaře. From here on the bike path R04 through an open landscape with a beautiful view of the whole city of Jihlava, we go down a comfortable descent past the Borovinka pond back to Jihlava.
